Cycling for a Cause

Posted on August 7th, 2017 by admin

The cycle from London to Edinburgh and back – a staggering 1433K – is no easy feat. For Juliette Clark, a special motive kept her going.

Having lost close friends through battles with cancer, Juliette decided that more awareness needed to be raised. On the 30th of July, she embarked on the long London-Edinburgh-London journey via bike, cycling an average of 343.3K (213.3 miles) per day, and finishing the route five days later on August 3rd, just a few minutes inside 101 hours. Whilst celebrating her friends’ lives and all those lost, plus raising awareness for Cancer Research UK, Juliette’s JustGiving page garnered over £8k.

Juliette’s epic journey is a stride for change – one that brings to light the threat of cancer and what we can do to prevent loved ones from experiencing a difficult battle. With a £10k target in sight, every donation on Juliette’s JustGiving page, big and small, will be donated to Cancer Research UK to continue their work in beating the disease for good.
