Hampstead Christmas Festival – Sunday 29th November 2015

Posted on November 21st, 2015 by admin

Property Divas sponsors the “Winter Wonderland” Venue – Rosslyn Hill Unitarian Chapel.

We Divas are delighted to be supporting the Hampstead Festival event again this year by sponsoring the ‘Winter Wonderland’ venue which the Rosslyn Hill Chapel have generously allowed to be used to house “Santa’s Winter Wonderland Grotto”, “The Mystical Fairies”, “The Art Competition” organised by the Hampstead School of Art, The Community Market, Face Painting and many more children’s activities.

Hampstead High Street will be turned into a magical winter wonderland Christmas scene with 90 stalls selling gifts, delicious international food and drink, a funfair, live music, a Christmas grotto, reindeer, a film show, children’s activities and lots more.

As one of the directors here has been part of the NW3 Festival Committee for the last four years, Helen Duncan will be busy on the day running the main stage event which forms the focal point of the festivities with performers all giving of their time for free on the day from 12 noon culminating in the guest celebrity switching on the Christmas lights at around 4.50 pm.

The festival is all the more impressive for the fact that is co-ordinated by a small team of dedicated local business and resident volunteers who have worked tirelessly throughout 2015 to organise and fund raise thereby ensuring that once again Hampstead will be beautifully lit over the Christmas period. They equally wanted to support a local cause and chose for this year’s charity the Hampstead Community Centre and community market.  http://www.hampsteadcommunitycentre.co.uk/

Come and meet The Divas on the day by the main stage

The festivities commence with a free screening courtesy of our friends at the Hampstead Everyman Cinema (doors open at 10), fantastic musical acts from mid- day, fairground attractions including a Big Wheel, the “Winter Wonderland” venue housing Santa’s Grotto, reindeer, street music, face painting, hot and cold international food and stalls offering an array of Christmas gifts.
